What does a Ledger device do?+
A Ledger hardware wallet keeps your private keys offline, away from internet-connected devices. You approve transactions on the device, keeping control in your hands.
What is my recovery phrase?+
It is a unique set of 24 words created during setup. It can restore access to your assets if your device is lost or damaged. Store it securely offline and never share it.
Will Ledger ever ask for my recovery phrase?+
No. Ledger will never ask you to share your 24 words. Treat any request for them as a scam, and do not enter them into a website, app, or computer.
